Be very wary!
Thomasians please be aware of the new modus operandi of thieves around the campus.
Around lunch time today, my friend and I were at Starrs in V. Concepcion creating a present for my mom. Since we sat at the counter, I placed my bag at the floor just below my feet. I was sitting semi-side ways since I was left handed and I found it difficult to write since my friend was right handed. A little while later, a student dressed in an AB uniform stood beside me as if to wait for his order, I did not pay any mind to him but I felt that someone was looking at me, or rather in my direction. As time went by, I noticed the student inch his way closer to me and his body reaching for the floor. At first I thought that student was just gonna get something from the floor or something but then I caught him inching his way towards my bag, I thought it was just my imagination so I kept my foot near my bag. It was a good thing that I did because I caught the student trying to grab my bag so I kicked it near my friend. A couple of minutes passed as the student pretended that nothing happened then abruptly left the place with the student behind us. Turns out they didn’t order anything at all and were just there to steal.
Thomasians be wary of your belongings since people now pose as students. They have access to our uniforms and sometimes have IDs like ours.
